JW Digital is a UK-based digital agency based in Greater Manchester. We build bespoke websites, ecommerce stores, mobile apps, custom web applications and back-end systems for growing UK businesses — and we keep them performing long after launch through hosting, maintenance and SEO retainers.

Day to day we work in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node — with React, Next.js and React Native on the front, and PostgreSQL, REST and GraphQL on the back. For content sites we use WordPress or Sanity; for commerce we use Shopify, WooCommerce or custom Stripe builds depending on what fits.

Founder & Lead Developer
Janusz founded JW Digital in 2023 after enterprise development experience at JD Sports Fashion, where he built systems serving 5 million monthly active users. He has since led development on healthcare and government-integrated platforms and contract work at Siemens. His full-stack expertise spans Next.js, TypeScript, React Native, Go, Python and AWS — the same stack that powers every JW Digital project — alongside hands-on experience with WordPress, Wix and Vercel, and setting up and optimising CI/CD pipelines.

For local clients we're happy to meet in person; for everyone else we run a fully remote workflow using video calls, Figma, Linear and weekly written updates. The quality of delivery is the same either way.

Custom only. We don't sell premium themes or page-builder sites — every project is hand-coded so it loads fast, ranks well, and stays maintainable as the business grows. The cost difference compared to a template is usually recouped within a year through better conversion, SEO and lower rebuild costs.
Yes. We offer managed hosting and three tiers of maintenance retainer covering security updates, weekly backups, uptime monitoring, content changes and dedicated development hours. Most clients keep the same retainer running for years post-launch.
Yes — SEO is a core service alongside design and development. Every site we build is technically optimised at launch (schema, sitemaps, page speed, indexation). Our SEO agency team then runs ongoing campaigns covering content, local SEO, link building and reporting if you want active growth work.
