Websites for Tradespeople is a trading brand of JW Digital Services Ltd, built to serve UK trades specifically. We designed and built the whole platform: trade-specific landing pages, SEO pages for each trade, published pricing, buyer's guides, an original research study and a lead pipeline that records every enquiry.

Websites for Tradespeople is JW Digital's dedicated brand for UK trades businesses, offering fixed-price websites, SEO and hosting to plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, landscapers and other trades.
Trades buy websites differently from most businesses. Their customers usually search on a phone, often with an urgent problem, and decide in seconds based on accreditations, reviews and whether the number is one tap away. A general agency site doesn't speak to that buyer, so we built a separate brand that does.
The platform was planned from keyword research before any page was written: every page owns one search intent, so the trade pages, SEO pages, pricing and guides support each other rather than compete for the same searches.
The trades web design market is crowded with monthly-subscription builders and exact-match domains, many of which hide their prices and keep ownership of the site. A new brand needed to stand out on transparency and on genuinely trade-specific content.
Each trade needed its own page, written around how its customers actually buy: Gas Safe checks for plumbers, NICEIC and EICRs for electricians, storm and leak call-outs for roofers. Repeating one template with the trade name swapped would have failed both customers and search engines.
It also had to launch fast, rank from a brand-new domain, and capture every enquiry reliably from day one.
We researched live search results and 'People Also Ask' questions for every important page, then wrote each trade page and each trade's SEO page from that research, so no two pages share the same content.
Pricing is published up front, with websites from £595 and SEO plans from £100 a month, alongside five buyer's guides covering website costs, what a trade website should include and whether directories like Checkatrade are worth it. An original research study on UK trades websites gives journalists and other sites something worth citing.
Under the hood it is a fast, fully static Next.js build with a phone-first layout, structured data, consent-based analytics and an enquiry form that stores every lead with where it came from, plus automated checks that stop broken metadata or placeholder text from ever being published.
Mapped the trades search market: keyword demand, live search results and the questions buyers ask, to decide which pages to build and what each should target.
Planned the site so every page owns one search intent, with internal links connecting trade pages, SEO pages, pricing and guides.
Wrote each page from its research, then built the site in Next.js with a phone-first design and a lead pipeline that stores every enquiry.
Launched with automated SEO checks, submitted the pages for indexing, and set up the brand's profiles across social and business platforms.
