Open Graph is a set of meta tags that control how a URL appears when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms — the title, description and preview image.

What size should the og:image be?

1200×630px is the recommended size for a large preview image. Smaller images may be cropped or shown as a small thumbnail.

Why does my old preview still show?

Platforms cache previews. After updating tags, re-scrape the URL with the platform's debugger (e.g. Facebook Sharing Debugger) to refresh it.
